MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop mainstream has been affected by his international popularity. In 2017 his hit track from 2016, Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. He released his debut long-player ADN for the Medellin-based Sony-distributed La Industria Inc. It peaked at number eight at the top of the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca was a Top Five hit for Ozuna and for him in the following year. He released Dopamina which was his top charting sophomore album the years following. In 2021 he produced the duet to TINI's smash song Maldita Foto. The hit song La Bachata from 2000 was made available in 2023. Turizo is a renowned musician, born in a musical home. Both his parents also played the guitar. In interviews, Turizo has said that music is an essential part of his life. While a youngster, he played the ukulele guitar and the piano.
