Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is a well-known Indian actress known for her performances in the film Beta Saajan as well as Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! She was first known for her 1980s role in Tezaab and Tezaab, which she co-starred alongside an established actor Anil Koopor. Her next role was in Dil which she starred alongside Aamir. A middle-class family was raised in Mumbai she started learning dancing at a young age. When she was still in high school, she tried her hand at acting, but most of her early movies failed. She found fame and became one of India's leading movie actresses. After marriage, she experienced a break in her career before re-entering the film industry. Recently, she played a prominent part on the film Gulaab Gang. The film featured the challenges faced by women across India. Dixit has been nominated for 15 Filmfare Awards. Of these she's won eight. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian honor in India. Her name is well-known for her charitable work as well.
